Visit Elmo and Big Bird at Sesame Place

Sesame Street is one of the most beloved television shows to have ever aired. Millions of children around the world have learned how to count with Count von Count, have learned the alphabet with Big Bird, and have learned basic life lessons by watching the show, created nearly forty years ago by Jim Henson. It is one of the longest running television shows in history, and it was just a matter of time before the lovable characters from the series got their very own theme park.

Located just miles north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sesame Place, has everyone’s favorite characters, from the Cookie Monster and Elmo, to Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, and Grover. There are dozens of things for kids and adults to do at Sesame Place, including shows rides, and water attractions.

The family can enjoy a number of great rides, from Elmo’s Blast Off to the Mix ‘n’ Match Twiddle Tracks. Take a spin on Grover’s World Twirl, a ride that is similar to the spinning teacups you might be familiar with in other amusement parks. Step aboard one of Big Bird’s Balloons and ride up the 40-foot tower. There is even a roller coaster called Vapor Trail for the larger kids in your group.

There is no need to worry, though. There is plenty for the little kiddies to do as well. They can visit Big Bird’s Court and the Sesame Playhouse, which are built just for them. Many of their favorite characters are also walking around the park, and the little ones are sure to get a thrill when they see them.

Sesame Place also has some great water attractions like Big Bird’s Rambling River, Sesame Streak, and Ernie’s Waterworks. The toddlers in the family can also get in on the watery fun in some of the splash pools and sprinklers. These attractions are great places to cool off during those hot summer months. Just be sure to remember the sunscreen!

When you just feel like relaxing, you can take in one of the shows, such as Elmo’s World Live, or watch the Rock Around the Block Parade. You can even have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the park with Big Bird and Friends. Don’t forget to check out the Sesame Place store so you can bring home some souvenirs of your family trip.

Sesame Place is a wonderful park for families to bring their young children. It is sure provide you with scores of great memories.
