White Deer truly has “something for everyone.” This exceptional complex features 45 holes of championship golf, a fully stocked pro shop with a large practice facility.
On April 17, 1964, on 388 acres of farmland, White Deer Golf Course was established. The Vintage Course was the first installment with the Challenge Course arriving on June 30, 1990. There is now 14,340 yards of golf over two 18-hole courses and a par 3 9-hole executive course. Time after time, White Deer has won the hearts of those who golf here as their favorite course.
The Vintage Course sports a modest length of 6.400 yards par 72 and has been a local favorite for over 40 years. The Challenge Course, which stretches to a length of 6.600 yards par 72, tests the playing abilities of all levels. The 9 hole executive course is a popular choice for beginners as well as those looking for some fun in the afternoon sun. All three courses are kept in excellent condition, boasting some of the best putting surfaces in Central Pennsylvania. White Deer also features a spacious driving range, chipping area, large putting green and lessons provided by PGA professionals for players seeking to improve their games through instruction. In short, White Deer Golf Course has everything a golfing family could ask for and more.
White Deer Golf Complex is unrivaled in beauty when it comes to the landscape and scenic view of the surrounding mountains. Conveniently located a short distance from the city of Williamsport, White Deer Golf Complex is moments away from many of Lycoming County’s tourist attractions, hotels, dinning and shopping areas.
With all of these amenities, White Deer offers many alternatives for tournaments and outings. Their professional staff is always available to assist in organizing your event to ensure it will be memorable for all participants.
White Deer is open from sunrise to sunset 7 days a week. In addition to their regular rates, they offer specials. The Executive Special is offered Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 3 PM. It includes range balls and lunch. Their Play and Ride Special is offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 2 PM. The 9 Hole Special is offered Monday through Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 PM to close.
